As moms, with a responsibility and desire to raise happy, healthy children, they are actively engaged in creating the conditions for that ambition to be realised, both in the home and in wider society. After a number of tough budgets and an enduring burden on families
to make ends meet, our research shows that moms have a heightened sensitivity towards a values-based society. 66% would vote for a party that best represents their values compared to 34% who would vote for the party that benefits them most financially.
This prioritisation of a values-based society over financial security speaks volumes about the type of Ireland they want for their children and the sacrifices they are willing to make to realise this Ireland. This is a vote for a better Ireland and for a values-based society. These Citizen I moms are the architects of the vision for this better society.
“I want my kids to believe in themselves and to respect the world and the people around them”.
Our research shows that moms want to live in a society that is peaceful, equal, safe, and fair; a society that cares and respects.
Moms are committed to creating this society with the majority (57%) happy to call Ireland home. Pride in Ireland is expressed through participation and engagement with their environment, rather than overt flag waving
